Hi,
Welcome to my personal home page.
My name is Mohammad Hossein Bateni. It is written like محمدحسین باطنی in Persian script.
As of September 2006, I'm a graduate student, at
Computer Science Department
of Princeton University . If you're looking for my academic stuff, visit my Academic Homepage.
I don't have much time working on this page,
and thus, this page will remain under-construction for a little more time.
However, I sometimes write in my weblog (دور از وطن) or take photos and put them in Hossein's Gallery.

Autobiography
I was born in 1985 A.D. (1363 Hijri) in Tehran, IRAN.
I studied in Allameh Helli Secondary School and High School, which is affiliated with NODET (سمپاد).
I participated in Compuer Olympiad nationwide competitions, and at last, I managed to get into the Iranian National Team, and won a Gold medal in IOI 2002 in Korea.
Thereafter, I went to Sharif University of Technology, arguably the best technical school in my home country. I studied Computer Engineering, and yet helped with the Olympiad camps. During the time, I also participated in several ACM-ICPC contests.
Status Quo
Now, I study in Princeton University, and therefore, I live in Princeton, which is a small town in Northeastern part of the US. I live in a castle which is called the Graduate College. I have some long-known friends here, that make my life possible. However, I miss my Olympiad friends very much, and the debates or discussions we had late at nights. I think it is needless to say, but just in case, I admit that I miss my home country a lot, and I'm looking forward to visiting my family and friends again!
Tribute
I always respect those who taught me something, and among those are a couple of professors, and several close friends. I specially wish to thank Dr. Mohammad Ghodsi, without whose support, I could not achieve many a thing I did. I would also like to thank Dr. Ghassem Jaberipur and Dr. Roozbeh Tusserkani, from whom have I learned a lot.
